Risks of lap-band surgury?
Ok, so my mom had a gastric bypass a few months ago, and I asked her why she wanted to do a gastric bypass instead of a lap-band, which I had heard was a lot simpler procedure, and generally safer for the patient. She told me that she had heard so many “horror stories” that she decided not to.
I was wondering if someone could tell me what the comparative risks are, because I found her answer kind of hard to believe.
