Insomnia has been showed as a disorder in many a movie as well as book. There are two cult classics on insomnia. One written by Stephen king a horror novelist and another from the 1976 taxi driver called Robert DeNiro. There are also many songs on insomnia about twenty eight of them by great artists such as Tenacious D, Green Day, Vanessa Carlton and also Radiohead. A popular movie that is based on a novel named Chuck Palahniuk was a great hit. It had in its lead roles Brad Pitt and Edward Norton. The lead was a manic insomniac. Hence this is known to be one of the most famous sleeping disorders.
This may be a problematic issue for those who are suffering from this problem. It is very unhealthy to be without enough of sleep as it may affect the immune system of the body and hence make to more prone to colds and flu. Severe disorientation can also be caused if you do not give your body the right amount of recuperation and rest.

Coffee drinkers will get tired after a certain point of time. This is because the first few cups of coffee that you take work very well but as you take more you tend to fall sleepy very fast and it helps in accelerating this process and hence it is not advised to take such large quantities of coffee.
People who have written a song on this disorder or even penned down a whole book on this topic may be those who have suffered from this problem. The reasons are still not known. However from these books and movie you do learn the range of sleeping disorder from the mildest to the most severe.
